INDIAN TV CHANNELS BLOCKED IN NEPAL

Webdesk, TNI Kantipur, 29th November, 2015: Unconfirmed reports from Nepal said that the Nepalese Cable TV operators have been blocked all Indian channels “indefinitely” to show solidarity in the protest against an unofficial “blockade of goods” by India into the country. Reports say that long queues of goods laden trucks are remaining stranded amid agitating by the Joint Madhesi Front in Nepal, scores of goods laden trucks are stranded on the India-Nepal border. The Madhesis have been protesting over “discriminatory” seven-province model of new Constitution that has led to the unofficial blockade of goods passage from India to Nepal and vice versa.
