Family Fight at Mekhliganj for Land, Road Blockade in Protest

Webdesk, TNI Mekhliganj, 25th July 2017: Today a Road blockade was staged at Bhotbari area of Mekhliganj following a tussle related to a Land related matter. The two members of two families went on to fight among themselves for a piece of Land.
The incident occurred at Bangladesh More area of Bhotbari under Mekhliganj Block. In this fight, the family members of one of the families are seriously injured. All of them are now under treatment at Mekhliganj Sub Divisional Hospital. Soon after that, member of the victim families staged a road blockade to protest against the incident. The vehicles immediately stopped and there was a commotion on the road. Police rushed to the spot and took the situation under control.
