Bosnia Ambassador to India is Very Positive About India – Bosnia Trade Soon

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 31st March, 2018: India-Bosnia trade & commerce potential is still largely untapped, but can grow significantly in the coming years if enhanced bilateral trade engagements and exchanges happen, commented His Excellency Dr. Sabit Subasic, Ambassador of Bosnia & Herzegovina in India. He was speaking at an Interactive Session on “Doing Business with Bosnia” organized by the MCCI on 28th March 2018 in Kolkata. Saying that Bosnia can offer huge trade & investment opportunities to Indian companies, Ambassador Subasic mentioned about sectors like Wood Processing, Textiles & Leather, Agro & Food Processing, Machinery & Automobiles, Mining & Minerals, Pharmaceuticals, IT & ITeS and Education which can drive future India-Bosnia trade co-operation. Talking specifically on Tourism, he said Bosnia & Herzegovina is one of the most picturesque countries in Europe which attracts tourists from all across the world, and more and more Indian tourists can explore the beauty of the country. Indian film industry, in particular, can explore and shoot at the various exquisite locales in Bosnia, Ambassador mentioned. Dr. Subasic, while talking about the industry-friendliness of Bosnia, said the country has the lowest VAT rate at 17% among neighboring countries in Europe, and a profit tax rate of 10 %.
