Fate for Dhupguri Municipal Board Sealed in Strong Rooms

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 14th August, 2017: The fate of 46 candidates from 14 wards of Dhupguri Municipal Elections are now kept in strong rooms at Dhupguri Higher Secondary school. The strong rooms are now under strong security and vigil. Those were temporarily converted into strong rooms by the election commission. Among the 39 wards voting was conducted in 33 booths.
The voting was suspended in rest 6 booths. On 16th August the voting will be conducted in those left out booths. The total voters who have casted their votes were 26000. Nearly 5 armed police are now guarding the strong rooms in various shifts of 8 hours. On 17th the counting of votes will be done. Now its just time to see which political party bags the Municipal board of Dhupguri.
