Folk Artist Street Show at Patiram Organized by Department of Information & Culture

Webdesk, TNI Patiram 25^th July, 2017: A street music show was organized by the Department of Information and Culture of Dakkin Dinajpur District today. The main motive of such a program by the department was to revive the feeling of folk art among the listeners. The program was staged at Patiram Chowranghi area from 4 pm today. The artists like Gopal Singha, Bharati Barman and others made the program more attractive for the passing listeners. It should be noted that in the entire state including Dakkhin Dinajpur many such artists were registered who are given various performing platforms for showcasing their performances. Apart from this, the folk artists were also used to educate various schemes of the Government for the society. The veteran and helpless artists are also getting the pension from the Government.
