Civic Volunteers Recruitment Stalled due to Municipal Elections at Dakkhin Dinajpur

Webdesk, TNI Buniadpur, 21st July, 2017: The Dakkhin Dinajpur District Magistrate ordered to postpone the recruitment of civic volunteers in the district following the election code of conduct applicable in the district due to the Municipal Election on 13th August 2017 at Buniadpur Municipality.
The notification was given by the District police on Wednesday. However, the District Police Super Mr. Prasun Banerjee said that a verbal order has been given but no written notification has been given by the District Magistrate.
