Dreaded Dacoity in a Doctor’s House at Islampur for Looting Rs. 40K

Webdesk, TNI Islampur 9th July, 2017: Yesterday in dreaded incident of dacoity at Futani More of Milanpally area under Islampur Police Station, a 9 member fully armed dacoit gang looted an estimated of Rs. 40000 cash and a huge amount of golden ornaments. The dacoity took place in the house of a Doctor i.e. Dr. Jaideb Sarkar. According to him the dacoits broke into their house and looted the house in gunpoint for 1.5 hours. The incident has raised questions about the role of the police at Islampur for providing security. The District Police Super Mr. Amit Kumar Bharat Rathod told TNI that investigation is going on.
