14 Police Women Injured as Their Police Vehicle Overturns at Islampur

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 10th July, 2017: Today in a police vehicle accident at Islampur College More led to the serious injury of 14 member women police squad. The Police squad was coming from Coochbehar for security during the Bandh called by BJP in protest of the killing of the Chopra Booth President Mr. Haren Singh. The vehicle went inside a Pan shop and toppled itself. All the 14 injured policewomen were admitted to the Islampur Hospital. The IC of Islampur Police told TNI that all of them are now stable. It is expected that due to a technical snag the accident might have occurred.
