68th CA Day Celebrated at Kolkata on GST [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 2^nd July, 2017: The ICAI and EIRC yesterday witnessed the 68^th CA Day Celebrations and also organized a Program and Panel Discussion on GST at Vidya Mandir Kolkata. The discussion was addressed by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India (Telecasted Live from Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi). The panel discussion and Program on GST were inaugurated by Babul Supriyo, Hon’ble Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.

The event was attended by various eminent personalities lime CA Manish Goya, Chairman EIRC, Sri Chandra Ghosh, MD Bandhan Bank, CA Sandesh Mundra, Ahmedabad, Mr. Khalid Aziz Anwar, Sr Jt Commissioner, Commercial Taxes and others. On this occasion CA Manish Goyal, Chairman EIRC said “GST is a destination based tax which will change the destiny of our country. It will, in fact, start a new journey for a developed India. The roll out of GST against all odds reflects that determination of our leaders to lead our country firmly to the next level of growth and development”. The 68^th CA Day celebration program also witnessed the hoisting of the CA Flag by the Chief Guest Hon’ble Minister of Tribal Development, GOWB.
