Doctor’s Day Celebrated at Islampur Today

Webdesk, TNI Islampur 1st July, 2017: Today like the entire country the Doctor’s Day was celebrated at Islampur in association with Indian Medical Association (Islampur Wing) and Islampur Subdivisional Hospital. A procession was organized that started from the hospital premises and went to Islampur Bus Terminus. There the participants garlanded the bust of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy and again came back with the procession to the hospital premises. A small seminar was also organized at the Seminar Hall of the Hospital along this a blood donation camp was also conducted. Almost all the staff, nurses, and doctors donated blood in the blood donation camp. The entire program was attended by the hospital super Dr. Narayan Midya, Assistant Doctor Dr. Santanu Dutta, Dr. Samaresh Sil, and others.
