Ten Days Ten Road Accidents at Islampur Yet No Respite: Administration Silent

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 6^th June, 2017: In yet another road accident a person died in a tragic road accident on the NH 31 near Islampur College. The deceased person is known to be Mr. Abdul Matin (50). It is reported that he was coming to see his relative admitted at Islampur Hospital. In the way, his scooty was rammed by a trailer coming from Siliguri side. The trailer is captured by the police. The victim died on the spot. In the last 10 days, 10 people died in road accident on NH 31. The IC of Islampur Police told TNI that “A huge load of traffic is now borne by the NH 31. Immediately an alternate road became inevitable.”
