Mujhnai River of Falakata Gradually Becoming a Narrow Drain

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 6th June, 2017: The rivers of Falakata is being raided every day. This is the allegation of the environmentalists. Big concrete buildings are being made over the rivers of Falakata. The administration is being silent in this regard. This is the allegation of various environmental activists.
The lifeline of Falakata, the Mujhnai river is gradually turning into a drain. Almost all the environmental organizations are demanding river reforms should be carried out at Mujhnai river. Apart from this, there are many valuable trees over the river spar. These trees are being cut by some people. In one such incident, Paschim Bongo Bigyan Manch had stopped those illegal felling of trees. The panchayat member Mr. Panchu Gopal Saha told TNI that strict action will be taken against the culprits.
