Series of Inauguration and Foundation Laying Happened Today at Dhupguri

Webdesk, TNI Falakata 26^th May, 2017: From the very morning there were continuous rains at Dhupguri and other adjoining areas. This had created an uncertainty about the inauguration and laying of foundation stones for several projects slated today.

However, after a late by 3 hours the programs started. The chief guest in those occasions was the MIC, NBDD Mr. Rabindra Ghosh and the chairman of SJDA Mr. Sourav Chakraborty. The first in the number was the inauguration of the third floor of Dhupguri Municipality. It was made with a recorded cost of Rs. 1 crore 47 lakhs. Second, in the line was the inauguration was the inauguration of the Dhupguri Municipal Bus terminus. Here the cost is around Rs. 4 crore.

A lottery was also organized to distribute the shopping stalls of the bus terminus. The third in a row was the inauguration of the extended road, newly constructed high drain and street lighting at Ghoshpara of Dhupguri. The total cost, in this case, was Rs. 15 crore and 25 lakhs. Both the guest walked to the spot from the previous.

Then the chief guest laid the foundation stone of the Dhupguri Women’s College canteen. The estimated cost is around Rs. 80 lakhs. At the end, it was the turn of the foundation stone laying of the road divider at Dhupguri Netajipara-Daukimari road along with the street light and river spar construction.
