Man Dies in Thunder Strike at Karandighi of Uttar Dinajpur Today

Webdesk, TNI Karandighi, 26^th May, 2017: A person today died in a thunder strike at Raiganj. The incident had brought a gloom in the area. It has occurred at Karandighi’s Pichla Village. The member of the local gram panchayat Mr. Dilip Mahato told TNI that the deceased man Gopal Sinha was going to the Tulsi tomb for worship after completing his bath suddenly, a thunder struck him. He died instantly on spot. From the family sources, it is learned that the man was a casual employee of PHE. He is survived by his wife, son and a daughter. The BDO of Karandighi Mr. Wangdi Gyalabo Bhutia rushed to his house soon after he got the information along with the IC Goutam Chakraborty and the vice chairman of Karandighi 1 No. gram panchayat Mr. Ajit Singh. From the Gram Panchayat source, it is learnt that all sort of help would be extended to the dead.
