HALDIA – JAGDISHPUR GAS PIPELINE VERY SOON

Webdesk, TNI Patna, 23rd July, 2015: A new gas pipeline i.e. Jagdishpur – Haldia pipeline is coming up soon. None other than the PM Narendra Modi will lay foundation stone of this 2,000 km stretch gas pipeline on July 25 here in Patna. The proposed gas pipeline is expected to provide feedstock for Barouni fertiliser plant in Bihar. The pipeline will also provide city-based gas to Patna city. The Rs 10,000-crore Jagdishpur-Haldia pipeline is being targeted to be completed by 2019. Once completed, the pipeline will feed to the gas requirement of automobile CNG along with piped cooking gas for households in cities along its route.
