Rains Continuing in Assam, More Rains Expected in North East

Webdesk, TNI Guwahati 11th April, 2018: Rains continue to lash North East of India from the beginning of this month. Assam is, however, receiving more rains than most of the other states. The last 24 hours saw a rise of the rain intensity in the state especially in the westernmost part of the state. On the other hand, light to moderate rains is happening in the neighboring states of Assam. The worst prediction came today when Met office informed that a cyclonic circulation is seen over northern Bangladesh and south Assam. Good rains are thus expected in lower Assam and also neighboring Sikkim. In fact, scattered rains are also expected to continue over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh. For the next 3-4 days, widespread rains are going to happen in the North Eastern states. However, according to the met office, a scattered rain is expected after that. Over the days to come a pleasant weather will be arriving in the region.
