UKGB Hands over Unique Software for the Blind Students of CHBB Coochbehar

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 21st March, 2018: Yesterday Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank (UKGB) in a small function provided an innovative software to the Children Home for Blind Boys (CHBB) located at Coochbehar for the students of the institute. The software has a unique feature of Speaking and Reading but also it has an inbuilt ability to integrate itself with the specially designed Computer Operating System, designed for the blind persons. The user (essentially a visually challenged person) will be able to operate the computer without any external assistance. Simultaneously, a voice feedback is also given to the user by the software on the user instruction of the software.

It is more said about the software that this unique multilingual software is very popular amongst the blind people throughout the world. It is expected that the software is going to open up a new horizon of learning to the differently abled students of CHBB, Coochbehar. During the handing over of the software by Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank, the CHBB expressed gratitude to the Honorable District Magistrate for giving consent to this unique project. In the program apart from the DM, the other guests were the SP of Coochbehar Mr. Bholanath Pande, Mr. G. S. Bedi, Mr. A. N. Chaudhuri Chairmen of Uttarbanga Kshetriya Gramin Bank and the officials of CHBB were present.
