Annual Sports of Anandam Kinder Days Held at Jalpaiguri Yesterday

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 19th February, 2018: 4th Annual Sports Day – 2018 of Anandam Kinder Days was held on yesterday at ABPC Play-Ground of College Para, Jalpaiguri. Students aged in between 1.5 years to 6 years were divided into 4 houses namely Red Blue Green and Yellow. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Arijit Biswas, Managing Director, and CEO, Anandam Group of Companies. The events included sprint, hurdle race, orange race, sack race, crossing tunnel, cricket ball throwing, kicking the football, relay race, etc.
Apart from sporting events, the students from nursery performed a dance drill and students of KG exhibited yoga. There were also events for guardians like spoon balance race (female), back walking (male), making the child ready for school (male and female). Judgement panel comprised of Jalpaiguri DSA affiliated referees. The principal of the school, Mrs. Sharoni Biswas Chakraborty, in her thanksgiving speech, emphasized the importance of participation rather than competition. Out of 204 students of the institution, almost 181 students participated in one event or the other on the final day. At the end of the event, prizes were given to the winners.
