11 Injured Over a Fight for a Piece of Land in Bangladesh at Mekhliganj [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Mekhliganj 18th August 2017: A Land tussle between two families left 11 injured at Mekhliganj. The problem started with the ownership of 27 D Land left across the border i.e. at Bangladesh. Sources said that the families of Anant Roy Pakadhora and Bhupal Laskar fought over the concerned land among themselves. Yesterday the land was already distributed equally in a settlement meeting yesterday. However, today Anant Roy Pakadhora and his family planted tea plants in the entire land. This enraged the family of Bhupal Laskar and fight started. The injured were taken to Mekhliganj Hospital. Both Families lodged complaints against each other at the Police station. Police sources said that investigation has started.
