Health Precautionary Measures Were taken in Dhupguri Block after Water is Receding

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri 14th August, 2017: After the water receded at Dhupguri the health workers and officials conducted an emergency meeting. Though the day was a holiday yet almost all of them were present i.e. First ANM, Second ANM employees, alongside there was the BDO of Dhupguri Mr. Dipankar Roy, BMOH Dr. Sabyasachi Mandal and Assistant Agricultural Officer Dr. Debasish Sardar. Medicines were handed over to the field health workers.
For last few days Dhupguri Block and adjoining areas were in flood waters. Now when the water is receding, the health condition of the people worsened. The sources from the health has informed that medicines like Anti Diarrheal, paracetamols, anti allergic, expectorants, ORS, water purifying medicines were given for distribution. Dr. Sabyasachi Mandal told TNI that it is natural that the diseases will grasp in after water receding, so these steps are taken for precautionary measures.
