Flood Situation Worsens in Uttar Dinajpur, Administration Creates Relief Camps [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Chopra 14th August, 2017: The Flood condition of Uttar Dinajpur worsened as waters in rivers like Mahananda, Dauk etc. showed its true colors. Thousands of people became homeless.
The administration had already started taking measures to bring relief to the flood affected people in this district. At Chopra 8 temporary rescue centers were started at Kamarghach FPS, Chopra High School, Ghoshpara, Chutiakhore, Kalikapur (2 centers), Diwangach, Manshigach And Dangapara MSK (Daspara).
A total of 300 families were shifted at these centers. On the other hand, 3 rescue centers were opened at Indira Colony of Goalpokhar GP, Chaklagach, Monipur of Mahua GP. In these centers at least 250 people were shifted from the nearby flood affected villages.
