Santiniketan’s ‘Khoyai er Haat’ is Now at Siliguri’s Jatiya Yuba Sangha [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 8^th August, 2017: The Khoyai Haat from Santiniketan is now in Siliguri. The organizers are Siliguri’s Jatiya Yuba Sangha by tying up with Kharda Artist Group from Khardah and Hijibiji of Kolkata. The village art and craft haat started from 6^th August and ended today i.e. 8^th August 2017.

The venue of the haat was the club premises of Jatiya Yuba Sangha itself. Village handicraft and folk items were sold by the handicraft makers themselves.

People visited in large numbers in the haat. According to the club organizers, this haat is just a kind of dress rehearsal for the main haat to be organized during the time of Durga Puja this season.
