Raiganj Might Get its Most Awaited Tebhaga Link Express to Kolkata from Kaliaganj

Webdesk, TNI Kaliyaganj 2^nd August 2017: If everything goes in the right direction then Uttar Dinajpur district is going to get the green signal for the Kolkata bound Tebhaga Link Express from Kaliaganj in morning hours. Today during the Parliamentary session Md. Salim, the MP from Raiganj met with the Honorable Union Railway Minister Mr. Suresh Prabhu and raised the issue of the most sought after train service. The Rail Minister informed that there are some operational problems of starting the rail services from Radhikapur Station instead the train services will be starting from Kaliaganj station. The Tebhaga Express runs between Balurghat to Kolkata. The link train will be connected with it from Kaliyaganj at Eklakhi Railway station. The Railway minister instructed the NF Frontier Railway manager over the phone to make every arrangement to make the link express operational as early as possible. The MP also demanded to minister for increasing the quality of the railway stations in the District. Now the Raiganj citizens are waiting for the starting of the train from Kaliaganj towards Kolkata.
