World Environment Day Observed at Goalpokhor, Islampur Today

Webdesk, TNI Goalpokhor, 5^th June, 2017: The World Environment Day was observed at Goalpokhor Block today. A cycle rally was organized by the student of Nandhajhar High School in this occasion. The cycle rally started from Nandajhar High School and reaches the same spot after traveling via Biprit More, Lodhan and other places. At least 100 students of the same school participated in the rally. The main objective of the rally was to make the people aware about the requirement to keep the environment safe. The dignitaries present in this occasion were Environmentalist Mr. Swarupananda Baidya, BDO Mr. Raju Sherpa, and others.
