Greencity Jalpaiguri, Organized World Environment Day at Jalpaiguri by Planting Saplings

Webdesk, TNI Jalpaiguri, 5th June, 2017: Green City Jalpaiguri, an Organization that started with a Facebook group in the social media is now very well-known as one of the social welfare groups of Jalpaiguri. This organization has contributed toward the social upliftment of the society to the helping the poor in times of need.

Today the organization had celebrated ‘The World Environment Day’ with its members at Jalpaiguri. 15 members of Green City Jalpaiguri participated in planting the saplings today. At least more than 50 samples were planted today in various locations of Jalpaiguri. The main slogan of the program by the group ‘Sabuj BIswa Gore Tuli’ (Come Let’s Make a Green World.
