LITTLE KARATE PLAYERS OF SILIGURI WON NATIONAL PRIZES AT KARNATAKA

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 16th October, 2016: In the “National Karate Championship ” organized from 15th October to 16th October 2016 at Hubli, Karnataka, 10 students of the ‘‘Kenryu Kan Gojuryu Karate –Do Association West Bengal” participated in the event under guidance of Sensei Mr. Debasish Dhali (Chief Instructor of West Bengal ). This was disclosed by the Karate organization through a press release. They have won six prizes viz Anishka Jain, got awarded with Gold in Kumite event, 50 to 55 kg Girls group, Vivek Agarwal, got awarded with Bronze in Kumite & Kata event, 65 kg Boys group, Grisham Agarwal, got awarded with Gold in Kata event, 20 to 25 kg Boys group, Mehul Garg, got awarded with Silver in Kata event, 50 to 55 kg Boys group, Shashwat Srivastav, got awarded with Gold in Kata event, 25 to 30 kg Boys group. The total participant of this Championship was above two thousand and getting those awards is no less a feat for those little Siligurians.
