FIRE IN KAMRUP EXPRESS DETECTED AT FALAKATA TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Falakata, 14th October, 2016: A sudden burst of a battery plate in a bogie of the Dibrugarh – Howrah Down Kamrup Express caused a fire in it. Smoke billowed out of the train. The train thus got late by 30 minutes at Falakata Railway station today. Mr. Gopal Das, the station master of Falakata Railway station informed it to the press soon after the smoke was observed coming out of the bogie. Later, the coil of the battery was disconnected. No passengers of the train were injured in this incident. After 30 minutes the train was let off from Falakata station.
