DURGA PUJA THEME 2016 OF SILIGURI CENTRAL COLONY DURGA PUJA IS “SARBABARNA”

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 12th September, 2016: Siliguri’s Central Colony Durga Puja is observing its 54th Year of Durga Puja Celebration. Over the years this puja committee has gained its popularity of doing something new in a big budget Durga Puja Celebration. This year too it’s no exception. With its unique presentation and creativity, Siliguri’s Central Colony Durga Puja has earned accolades not only in Siliguri or North Bengal but in Kolkata as well. This year the committee have hired Dot Painting artist Mr. Subhadeep Majumdar and Smt. Sumi Majumdar from Kolkata for their Durga Puja theme entitled “Sarbabarna” depicting unity in diversity. Today in a press conference this has been declared by the Chief Patron of the puja committee MIC Tourism Minister Mr. Gautam Deb along with the office bearers of the committee i.e. President Mr. Subhash Roy, working president Mr. Jayanta Dey, Vice president Mr. Angshuman Chakraborty and others, Jt. Secretary Mr. Partha dey and others. The officials told the press that like that of previous years this year too there will be surprises along with the social contributions of the club.
