NORTH EAST GIRLS OUTSHINES BOYS IN CBSE RESULTS

Webdesk, TNI Guwahati 21st May, 2016: The National trend continues in Assam too where the girls outperformed the boys yet again in the CBSE exams. In Guwahati Region this year’s CBSE Class XII finals the pass percentage is at 71.334%. Among which the girls stood in a whopping 74.55% in comparison to the boys who have scored 68.28%. CBSE sources revealed that a total of 50710 students appeared in the examination from this region (Guwahati). On the other hand the Kendriya Vidyalayas has a pass percentage of 93.9% and a little behind was Jawahar Navoday Vidyalayas, which has got a pass percentage of 92.79%. The Government School of Assam affiliated to CBSE has a pass percentage of around 60.20% and the Independent School under CBSE got a pass percentage of 73.67%.
