ADDICTED PERSON KILLS HIS MOTHER BY HAMMER AT PANJIPARA

Webdesk, TNI Panjipara 27th April, 2016: An addicted person today kills his mother with a hammer at Panjipara area of Goalpokhor Police station. The residents of the area are somewhat dissatisfied on the role of the police. According to them if police would have acted positively then the incident could have been averted. The main accused is known as Raju, the son of Ranjan Roy is a known dendrite addict. On a fateful day, he returned home addicted. His mother scolded him. He then banged his mother with a hammer and she was badly injured. After a weeklong treatment in NBMCH of Siliguri and private hospitals, she was brought back mainly due to lack of funds. Today, she died at her house at Panjipara. Local people, now wants the administration to demolish the illegal liquor shops and medicine shops which are selling addictive items to the local youths.
