MAHINDRA QWIK LAUNCHED IN KOLKATA TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata 26th April, 2016: A unique service launched in Kolkata by Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. recently, which is named ‘Mahindra Qwik Workshop’.  According to the company this innovative customer care initiative would enable owners of Mahindra’s personal range of vehicles to reduce waiting time at service centers. Till date the company has inaugurated 34 such facilities across the country and this being the first in Kolkata. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Koushik Mukhopadhyay, Zonal Head Customer Care East-Automotive Division, M&M Ltd., Mr. Biswarup Mitra, Sr. Manager (Retail Sales) WBSO, IOCL, Mr. Manoj Gupta, Chief Divisional Retail Sales Manager, Mr. Pradip Goshal, Manager Retail Sales. This facility is now available at Bada Nagar, B.T. Road.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Mahindra & Mahindra and Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) in March 2015 for setting up Mahindra workshops at IOCL fuel stations. Developed to enhance customer experience, Mahindra Qwik Workshop is a compact facility manned by a team of expert technicians and service advisors specially trained on productivity enhancement techniques. Each bay has a timer clock and the reverse countdown starts immediately as soon as the vehicle is taken to the respective bay for servicing. These facilities will handle select periodic maintenance services which are of “wait while we service” nature. Customers have access to a Wi-Fi enabled air conditioned lounge while watching their vehicles being serviced. Delivery is assured in 90 minutes or less depending on the nature of work. Mahindra Qwik Workshop will also encourage customers to take prior appointment using the ‘With You Hamesha’ Mobile App. “Mahindra Qwik Service has been very well received by our customers across the country. The positive response from customers has given us the confidence to launch this service in Kolkata” says Mr. Sandeep Dhond, Vice President, Customer Care, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd.
