YEAR END FLYOVER COLLAPSE LEAD TO DEATH AND AWE IN KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, March 31^st 2016: Today just a few moments back an under-construction flyover rumbled resulting in estimated 10 deaths and several injured. Rescue officials believe that there would be more deaths under the debris as the cleaning operations have just started. The incident happened at Burrabazar area in Central Kolkata in a busy area near the iconic Ganesh Talkies. The workers have are currently pulled out from the large chunks of concrete. There are continuous efforts to bring out the trapped down under. A pedestrian at the Burrabazar area, Mr. Sankar Dolui told TNI “I was out of a garment shop for shopping suddenly I heard a large rumble. I thought that probably it’s an earthquake. However, I didn’t realize any jerking. Later someone told me to stay inside the shop to avoid commotion outside because of the flyover collapse”. Many policemen and fire officials rushed to the spot to take note of the situation.
