BICENTENARY ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS AT HINDU SCHOOL, KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 25th January, 2016: Hindu School, Kolkata one of the most prestigious schools of India celebrated its bicentenary on 20th of Jan. The program was inaugurated by Sri Biman  Bandhopadhyaya, Speaker of the West Bengal Vidhan Sabha and the chief guest Brahmachari Mural Bhai, the trustee of Dakshineshwar Ramkrishna Sangha Adyapith. The ceremony was initiated by syllabus committee chairman Avik Mazumdar enlighting the lamp followed by the Rabindra sangeet and the cultural performance by the school students. Some of the notable alumni were also present at the ceremony felicitating the principal Shyamnarayan Bandhopadhay. The other guest panelist included Justice Samaresh Banerjee, IMAS Nirmal Manjhi and others.
