POACHING CONTINUES IN KAZIRANGA FOREST OF ASSAM: RHINO KILLED FOR HORN

Webdesk, TNI Guwahati, 29th December, 2015: Illegal poaching in Kaziranga National Parks is going on strong. A full grown adult rhino was killed by suspected poachers last week.  The forest personnel deployed in the World Heritage site had figured gun shots late on that fateful night. They immediately cordoned the area but in vain. The personnel found the carcass of the poor animal in blood and its horn taken away by the suspected poachers. The rhino was found near Sundaer Camp in Bagori Range of the park i.e. deep in the forest.
