VISHWAKARMA PUJA CELEBRATED AT ‘NABANNA’, KOLKATA

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 19th September, 2015: The Vishwakarma Puja was celebrated at Nabanna, the administrative enclave of West Bengal yesterday with much fanfare. The chief minister Smt. Mamta Banerjee, the Finance Minister Mr. Amit Mitra visited the festival spot and enquired about the process. They also offered pranam to the deity and accepted prasad on the occasion. A half day leave was already declared by the Administration yesterday on account of Vishwakarma Puja. The prasad of Vishwakarma was laced with Khichuri (Rice preparation), Labra (mixed Vegetables), Chutney and Sweets as dessert. Many office staff, security personnel, and other people came to take the prasad and offer puja for the World’s greatest Engineering God (Hindu Mythology).
