BLOOD DONATION CAMP ORGANISED BY RAIGANJ ZILLA PARISHAD

Webdesk, TNI Raiganj, 1st September, 2015: Today the Zilla Parishad of Uttar Dinajpur organized a Blood Donation Camp. The main program was organized in the Hall located at the extended building of UD Zilla Parishad. At least 28 people have donated blood in this camp. The District magistrate also joined the blood donators. The dignitaries present were District Sabhadipati Alema Noorie, Assistant Sabhadipati Mr. Purnendu Dey, Nodal officer Mr. Ashok Brahma, Dr. Sujay Singha, Dr. Arun Ghosh, Dr. Malabika Das, Dr. Madhusudhan Kundu and others. The DM told the press that the camp is organized to reduce the absence of blood at the District blood bank. He also said that such camps will also be organized at different subdivisions of the district vey shortly.
