KALIMPONG MUNICIPALITY TO COMPLETE AADHAR CARD PROCESS BY SEPTEMBER

Webdesk, TNI Kalimpong, 24th August, 2015: After the Prime Minister reviewed the progress of biometric enrollment, he has directed to wrap up the enrollment by September 2015 in which Kalimpong Municipality will complete the (Aadhar card) processes. ‘We have received a letter from the Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal to wind up the enrolling process of Aadhar Card within September’ said Sanjay Pradhan, the Nodal Officer of Kalimpong Municipality. Various administrations were ordered to work as permanent centers from December 2014 to December 2015, but abiding by the orders of the census of India the administrations will now complete the process and submit the reports by next month. The civilians here are reluctant and often turn up at the wrapping up period, talking about the strict timekeeping of the biometric enrolment, the Nodal Officer said, ‘I hope people will cooperate and won’t rush to take photographs here at the last moment.’ However, the administration is directed to go door to door for the enrollment of the disables, ‘We will be sending our staffs to each door of the disabled ones from the second week of September to take the details for biometric attendance’ said Pradhan.
