SHOOTOUT AT KOKRAJHAR KILLS KLO TERRORIST

Webdesk, TNI Assam-Bengal Border, 14th August, 2015: A KLO (Kamptapur Liberation Organization) suspected terrorist was killed in an encounter at Bengal – Assam border today. The encounter took place in a place called Fakirgram of Kokrajhar district coming under Assam territories. Along with this, 7 Kgs of explosives were also recovered from the spot by the CRPF and Assam Police. The name of the killed terrorist is Robi Roy alias Dhoronir. The security forces are also there was another terrorist, who received encounter injuries. Local sources revealed that the security forces might have got the tip that some KLO terrorist has gathered at Kokrajhar to do some anti-national activities on 15th August along with explosives. The injured terrorist has been admitted at Kokrajhar RNB Civil Hospital. The local administration said that the security in the area was already beefed up following the tip-off from intelligence about the anti-national activities from the terrorist outfits.
