KLO MILITANT CAUGHT IN KOKRAJHAR, ASSAM

Webdesk, TNI Kokrajhar, 23rd July, 2015: In a joint operation the Assam Police and the Indian Army arrested a suspected KLO terrorist from Kokrajhar. The entire operation was conducted at a place called Jaldoba located within the borders of Kokrajhar district yesterday. Arms seized from the militant include one 9-mm pistol, two hand grenades, and some live rounds said an internal source of the Indian Army. Meanwhile, a joint team of Army and police also launched an operation in Chapar of Dhubri district. In this operation, a suspected member of the Muslim United Liberation Tigers of Assam (MULTA) was arrested. The recovered arms from the militant were one 9-mm pistol, one .22-mm rifle, 2.75 kg of TNT, 10 electric detonators and some live rounds were recovered from the arrested, the sources said.
