SILIGURI CELEBRATED HOLI EID WITH MUTUAL RESPECT

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 19th July, 2015: Siliguri celebrated the Holi Id yesterday. From the morning the people came to Kanchenjungha Stadium to offer Eid Prayers. After the prayers, they embraced each other as a part of showing solidarity to each other. Not only the Muslims were present in the occasion but also may other people from different communities gathered here. Siliguri has its own culture of showing mutual respect to every religion in the city. Eid was no exception in this phenomenon in this regard.
