TAINTED GODALA ARRESTED AGAIN

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 16th July, 2015: The tainted IAS officer and the former SJDA CEO Godala Kiran Kumar is being arrested by CID yesterday. Earlier he was arrested by Siliguri Police in connection with his direct involvement allegedly in a Rs. 200 Crore Scam in SJDA. He was being transferred to Malda as a District Magistrate. In that scam itself a total of 9 cases were being filed and one of the case was against Godala Kiran Kumar. He was thus being arrested by Siliguri Police during that time. Later he was granted bail. The main case filed against him was regarding the misappropriation of Rs. 5 crore in the dealings of buying CCTV sets for Siliguri city. He is again being arrested for the same case.
