TNI News Service (TNS)
Webdesk, TNI Dacca, 22nd June, 2015: The Iconic Indian fan of the legend Sachin Tendulkar Sudhir Gautam was attacked with bamboo and sticks in Mirpur, Dacca. According to Gautam, he was attacked by Bangladesh fans in Dhaka. The 34-year-old Sudhir, who paints his body with the Indian tri-colour and passionately displays his support for Team India, vehemently told a TV channel from India that he was attacked by a mob during the ODI series against Bangladesh. India has lost the three-match series after going down by six wickets in the second ODI on Sunday night at Mirpur. It is to be noted that like many other iconic fans of cricket teams Sudhir has become a celebrity, who travels throughout the world where India plays against the opponents, said he was “pelted by stones” and his “auto-rickshaw was attacked” in Dhaka. He said security officials came to his rescue when the unrelenting mob chased him. On the other hand, Bangladesh has provided the MS Dhoni and team with maximum security and even banned terror outfits with anti-Indian sentiments.
