ANOTHER BPO SEX RACKET UNEARTHED IN KOLKATA WITHIN A YEAR

Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 14th June, 2015: Another BPO sex racket was unearthed in Kolkata within a year. According to reports, last came in, officers from Park Street Police Station caught the culprits red handed in a trap laid down by the police. According to the police the sex racket was run under the guise of a BPO. In the raid operation the main lead was taken by the lady police officers. Earlier in November last year another similar incident took place. During that time the detective department has arrested 14 people involved with an organized sex racket in Thakurpukur area. It was alleged that during that time the accused rented apartments claiming that they were running a call centre. The arrests were carried out from two areas — Jodhpur Garden and Thakurpukur. In both the cases the accused used BPO as a guise, to operate in Kolkata. It has now become a great concern for the city police when innovative modern techniques were being used to operate sex racket in the metropolis.
