KALIMPONG FAMILY’S MIRACULOUS ESCAPE FROM ROLLING ROCK

Webdesk, TNI Kalimpong, 8th June, 2015: A family was miraculously saved from sudden rolling rock from the hill slope last night around 12:00 am at Okharbotay, Upper Bhagay, Sangsay G.P, 14th mile. Surprisingly the night was calm without rainfall or storms. The family belongs to a grocery show owner who thanks his fate that his family was saved possibly of God’s grace. The rock demolished their small temple which was built with aluminum sheets adjacent to the main house. The boulder soon went down in a speed crushing another neighbour’s pig sty and their scullery. The concerned family stayed sulking since midnight unable to contact anyone for help, people slowly started gathering after dawn. The executive assistant and other staffs of Sangsay Gram Panchayet visited the spot and provided the family with the normal relief materials like blankets and tarpaulins this afternoon, said a source.
