SHAHID AFRIDI’S “MAUKA MAUKA” PROTEST FOR THE INDIA’S AD CAMPAIGN [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Karachi, 31st March, 2015: The Boom Boom all-rounder of Pakistan Shahid Afridi has poked fun at Indian Cricket team with the popular ‘Mauka Mauka’ ad campaign. He took the chance when he was asked to react to India’s defeat to the mighty World Champions Australia in the semi-finals. He sang the ‘Mauka Mauka’ song on a Pakistani TV show which drew huge applauds among the audiences. Earlier a sports TV channel started the ‘Mauka Mauka’ series this February in the run-up to the World Cup 15.
It’s not only Pakistani fans has discarded the ad campaign, but a strong protest was seen in the neighboring Bangladesh. Social network sites were flooded with India hatred messages and updates by the Pakistanis and Bangladeshis worldwide. Shahid Afridi’s reaction was the first Pakistani Cricketer’s direct protest in the media against the ad campaign.
