BOOK FAIR ORGANISED AT SILIGURI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, SUKNA

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 15^th February, 2015: Techno India Group has organized a three days event named ‘Days With Books’ which has been started from yesterday at the campus of Siliguri Institute Of Technology, Sukna. The event will end on 15th February. The event is a cultural and technical event which includes Book Fair, Song and Dance Show, Tech Shows, Inter School Quiz, Art Workshop, Sculpture Workshop, Sahitya Basar, Food Show, Alumni Meet etc. All the Techno India schools from Cooch Behar, Falakata, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, Siliguri, Raiganj along with few other schools from Siliguri and the Hills have participated in this event. On the second day of the event the Managing Director of Techno India Group Mr. Satyam Roy Chowdhury and an eminent actor cum singer Mr. Saheb Chattopadhyay was present along with other eminent dignitaries namely Dr. K.C. Mitra (Eminent doctor of North Bengal and Founder of Siliguri Ramkrishna Mission), Mr. T. Gangadharan (Secretary, All India Peoples Science Network), Prof. Tapan Kr. Mishra (Emeritus Professor, Illinois University, USA) and many more were present. Two books “Ramkrishna For You” and “Biroher Ontorale” of Mr. Satyam Roy Chowdhury was also launched today in the event. Another organization, ‘North Bengal Vision’ has awarded ‘Banglar Gourab Somman 2015’ to Mr. Roy Chowdhury. From the stage of the event ‘Siliguri Bhasa Utsav 2015’ was inaugurated. A personalized Postal stamp of a local artist was also launched in the event.
