‘Bono Mahotsav’ Celebrated at Islampur’s Milanpally High School Today

Webdesk, TNI Islampur, 15th July, 2017: With the inspiration of the Honorable Chief Minister Smt. Mamta Banerjee today the District Bono Mahotsav was organized at Milanpally High School of Islampur. The Chairman of Islampur Municipality and MLA from Islampur Mr. Kanhaiyalal Agarwala inaugurated the program by planting trees.
In the program, the other dignitaries present were Officer from the Forest Department Smt. Manjula Tirkey, Head Mistress of Islampur Girls High School Smt. Jagadhattri Sarkar and others. After planting of the trees there was a rally organized by the students of Milanpally High School and Islampur Girls High School throughout Islampur town. Later a plant each was given to all the students present in the occasion.
