Banks Refuses Coins at Dinhata: Merchants Affected

Webdesk, TNI Dinhata, 2nd May, 2017: Dinhata merchants are facing problems in retailing, because of the refusal to accept of retail coins by the banks or financial institutions. An incident was discovered at the Godhuli Market of Dinhata. A local businessman named Mr. Rakesh Dey got into a problem when his money amounting to Rs. 10000 in coins was refused by the banks. Mr. Dey even told TNI that the bank is charging extra for exchanging the coins to notes. When contacted with the SDO of Dinhata. He said that the problem will be solved soon.
