NHPC Siliguri Observed 75th Independence Day Today

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri 15th August, 2021: NHPC Regional Office, Siliguri celebrated Independence Day 2021 in the spirit of patriotism. Mr. Y. Srinivas, General Manager (Research), hoisted the National Flag. Addressing the people present on the occasion, Mr. Y. Srinivas congratulated all on the 75th Independence Day. On this occasion he remembered the freedom fighters and paid homage to them as well as the Jawans who sacrificed their lives in protecting the borders of the country. In his address, he mentioned the important contributions being made by NHPC in the development of the country and appreciated employees of NHPC working in difficult and remote areas. In view of the Corona pandemic social distancing norms and other protocols were followed at the event. On this occasion Mr. Devendra Kumar, General Manager (Finance), Mr. Mihir Kumar Mishra, Deputy General Manager (HR), Mr. Baleshwar Nath, Deputy General Manager (Civil), senior officers and staffs of regional office were present.
