Jaigaon Traffic Police Conducted Road Safety Awareness Drive at Jaigaon

Webdesk, TNI Jaigaon, 25th September, 2020: Jaigaon traffic police today started a campaign for creating awareness of road safety especially for the helmetless and maskless bike riders. Today the police campaign drive was conducted in areas like Jaigaon Bus Stand, Shumshumi Bazar and other areas of the border town. In this regard the Jaigaon Traffic OC Mr. Ratan Kumar Ghosh spoke to TNI and said “Today’s Traffic Police campaign drive was conducted to avenge road accident and make people aware about the traffic rules”. Apart from this the drive also included spot fine recovery from the helmetless vehicles. The OC further told TNI “Most of the people on road are using mask but there are few who were averting mask. We also warned them of their reluctance in this regard”.
